This report is an account for the preliminary results of the comparison of ‘Civic Cultures’ in Stockholm and Bogotá. The comparison is part of an ongoing cooperation between the Sociology of Law Department, Lund University and Corporación Visionarios por Colombia – Corpovisionarios. ‘Civic Culture’ is a concept covering citizens’ legal or non-legal reactions on different confl icting situations or on how to make and repair agreements. The concept relates legal or non-legal reactions to issues like conformity and attachment to law and trust as well as different demographics. The comparison is carried out with an identical survey.
