Nature's end : history and the environment

Environmental History is one of the most exciting and rapidly expanding new areas of historical study, and it draws upon a wide range of disciplines for its insights and themes. With contributions from historians, geographers, anthropologists and natural scientists, Nature's End provides fifteen essays that cover key themes and methods in the field and address both newcomers and seasoned practitioners.
