This introductory text has been revised and updated to include a number of features that strengthen its emphasis on visualization, problem-solving and applications. All elements of the package - the text, CD-ROM, Web site and other supplements - work together to help students see the connections between the visible and molecular world, and understand how chemical knowledge is used to solve problems affecting all aspects of human life. The Student CD-ROM, developed with Sumanas, and CADRE (Roy Tasker, University of Sydney Nepean) is packaged with each copy of the text.
